Slim Framed Pivot Door
The minimal windows Pivot Door is the first fully tested pivot door on the market. Fully tested as and intended to be used as a door, the aluminium pivot door offers a slim thermally broken profile.
The system includes a unique magnetic weather seal at the base for expectational performance.
Our specially engineered slim aluminium framing profiles can be used to create very large pivoting doors, perfect to accompany other minimal windows systems on your project.
With a flush base track when the pivot doors are open, and a minimal surrounding frame you can expertly recreate the appearance of the minimal windows sliding glass doors in a pivoting design.
Specification Information
The minimal windows pivot door contains a hold open and self-closing mechanism within the head framing of the pivot door for ease of handling, especially when the window is created at large sizes.
An ergonomic two point thrust lever locking mechanism is integrated into the opening edge of the pivot window to mirror the appearance of the minimal windows sliding doors.
The integrated lock has been tested for security and is designed to ensure that it does not impede onto the glass face of the large pivoting window.
All drainage is integrated into the base of the minimal windows pivot door to allow a flush threshold when open. A stainless steel blade drain and sub base neoprene drainage block force create a suitable base detail for water resistance and direct water run off away.
For increased levels of weather protection and security, a high quality magnetic sealing strip sit under the door. When closed the seal rises up to slot into the gap at the base of the door leaf.
The minimal windows is available with an integrated glazing bar design, to create a timeless glazing aesthetic . Aluminium glazing bars are applied to the surface of the glass with a dummy spacer bar behind, for an authentic glazing bar design.

Large Pivot Doors
These large format pivoting windows can reach heights of 3m for an impressive opening window design.
Their widths can be up to 1.8m per door and multiple door configurations, such as double opening, are also possible.
minimal Framing
Using the same framing profiles as the minimal windows sliding glass doors creates an extremely thin framed pivot door.
The vertical sightline is a slim 21mm profile with integrated lock and pull handle for the most minimal design. When upgrading to triple glazing the sightline still remains ultra-slim at just 26mm.
Pivoting Mechanism
A stainless steel pivot in the head and base of each door creates the smooth pivoting action.
This pivot point has to be a minimum of 100mm from the closing edge but can be moved to the centre of the door as required.
Hold open and self-closing mechanisms are within the head of the pivot window.
Handle Options
The vertical part of the frame protrudes enabling it to be used as a handle with no additional ironmongery necessary.
Integrated two-point locking can be operated by a thrust lever or internal removable key.

This system has been fully weather testing surpassing all requirements for air permeability, water tightness and wind load.
The system has also been security tested and displayed an excellent resistance to burglary.
triple glazing
The minimal windows 4+ framing profile can be used with this system to accommodate tripled glazed units.
Triple glazing offer higher thermal performances and will have a 26mm sightline rather than 21mm.
