There is a range of slim sliding glass doors on display at the IQ Glass UK Showroom in Amersham, located within the prestigious Sky House Design Centre a short journey from London.
After a major renovation, the sliding door showroom is now complete. The new showroom has a variety of minimal windows® architectural glazing solutions including a 6.5m tall automated vertical sash window and sliding pane installation.
There is also a minimal windows® box with a two and three pane sliding door meeting in an open corner configuration and a 3.7m tall pivot door! These high performance systems must be experience in person to appreciate the ultra-slim framing and innovative glazing technology.
Seeing installations in person showcases the sliding doors in-situ where you can see for yourself how the outer frames can be hidden within the wall and ceiling finishes, see how easy they are to slide and view all the frame and locking details in person.

Brand New minimal windows NGS Installation
As well as the classic minimal windows system, the IQ Glass showroom now has a brand new installation completed in January 2024!
The new system installed showcases the minimal windows NGS sliding doors at over 6m tall in a three track configuration. The sliders have the new hidden handle technology which allows the doors to close automatically and hide the vertical framework within the building finish. Utilising four depths of unique aluminium profiles, the fully thermally broken glass door offers a frameless visual when the doors are closed. No frame is visible above the floor finishes with all base framing and tracks built into the floor structure. The result is a floor to ceiling frameless sliding glass door with exceptionally high levels of performance to meet future building requirements.
Installed to match the NGS sliders is a vast pivot door that stands at over 6m tall. This pivot door features a magnetic base seal which makes the system fully watertight and improves its thermal performance when closed.

Around the showroom, you can find frameless glass balustrades installed to a roof terrace, a structural glass wall and roof that creates a large glass entrance. Within the Sky House Design Centre, there are window and door selector cassettes where you can view a broad range of glazing options to be installed alongside slim sliding doors.
The IQ Glass showroom is located in Amersham (Bucks), just North West off the M25, therefore it is easily accessible from all major motorways, it is also on the London Metropolitan Tube line and a 25-minute journey on the Chiltern Railway line from London’s Marylebone Station.
