Monochrome Pool House

black framed modern sliding glass doors for monochrome design

A set of four-pane thin framed sliding glass doors were installed onto this monochrome pool house. These glass sliding doors allow the internal and external spaces to be merged together and used at the same time or if the doors were closed, the internal space could be used separately for some privacy and quiet from the outdoors.

A flush threshold and integrated drainage system has been integrated into the design of these modern glass sliding doors to create step-free access to the living space and to prevent any water damage or flooding from the pool.

The aluminium framing used for these thin frame glass doors have been powder coated black to match with the structural glazing back painting and the cladding on the roof of the living space. Using a black powder coating for the glazing contrasts with the all-white furniture within the space creating a monochrome design.

The thin frame and glazed panels allow natural light to pass through into the space whilst providing views of the external space and pool area from the inside. This is perfect for allowing the family to keep an eye on their children playing in the pool whilst relaxing in the shade.
