Sliding Door Showroom

As well as the classic minimal windows® system, the IQ Glass showroom now has a brand new installation completed in January 2024.

The new system installed showcases the minimal windows® NGS sliding doors at over 6 m tall in a three-track configuration. The sliders have the new hidden handle technology, which allows the doors to close automatically and hide the vertical framework within the building finish. Utilising four depths of unique aluminium profiles, the fully thermally broken glass door offers a frameless visual when the doors are closed.

No frame is visible above the floor finishes, with all base framing and tracks built into the floor structure. The result is a floor-to-ceiling frameless sliding glass door with exceptionally high levels of performance to meet future building requirements.

Installed to match the NGS sliders is a vast pivot door that stands at over 6 m tall. This pivot door features a magnetic base seal which makes the system fully watertight and improves its thermal performance when closed.

Around the showroom, you can find frameless glass balustrades installed to a roof terrace, a structural glass wall and roof that creates a large glass entrance. Within the Sky House Design Centre, there are window and door selector cassettes where you can view a broad range of glazing options to be installed alongside slim sliding doors.

The IQ Glass showroom is located in Amersham (Bucks), just north-west of the M25 and easily accessible from all major motorways. It is also on the London Metropolitan tube line and a 25-minute journey on the Chiltern Railway line from London Marylebone.
